Education

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) regards education as a crucial aspect of its mission to advance the art, science, and practice of illumination. Educational courses are important to new and experienced members alike in order to stay current with the latest developments, skills, and new technologies within the lighting field.

The Philadelphia Section offers formal lighting courses designed to meet the needs of the design community including architectural, engineering, space planning, landscape planning and construction at two levels. Contact our Education Chair for details.
